Dear Parents,
We have only one more part of a science test to take for NYS, and then the testing is over for this year! Results are not communicated to us until later in September. The last test is the written science which will be taken Monday morning, June 3. Please be sure that they get a good night's rest on Sunday so tstudhey are not tired. Summer uniforms are now an option. Please be sure that socks cover their ankles. The low socks are not uniform code. Jackets and sweaters are still handy with the cool breeze off the lake. Saint Kateri Students Rule Our yearly multiplication had a couple extra contestants this year. Dr. Anthony Cook, superintendent of Catholic Schools, always challenges my class on their facts. This year Matthew Campbell (graduate), Emilia Carey and Ruby Ligozio took the challenge. I'm am proud to announce that all three Saint Kateri students finished 100 facts correctly within two minutes. Matthew completed in 1:35 seconds, Emilia was second fastest and 1:46 seconds, and Ruby had her fastest time yet of 1: 57. Dr. Cook got all of his completed answers correct but did not complete four facts within the two minutes. He too gave his best performance! Dr. Cook is a good sport and is always willing to challenge students for speed and accuracy. I |
